Refund policy
The short version: if you're not happy with a book, email us within 30 days and we'll refund you in full. No form, no reason required, and you keep the file.
There is nothing to return
Everything we sell is a digital download. No item ships, so there is no return address, no return shipping label, no packaging to keep and nothing to send back.
Once you've bought a book it's yours permanently, refund or not. We won't ask you to delete it and we have no way to take it back.
How to request a refund
Email hello@forksecret.com within 30 days of purchase with the email address you used at checkout, or your order number if you have it.
You don't need to explain why. We'll confirm within one business day.
If your download didn't work
Please contact us before requesting a refund. A broken link or an email that never arrived takes us minutes to fix, and you'll usually have the book the same day.
If your download link hasn't arrived, check your Promotions tab, then Spam or Junk, then search your inbox for "Forksecret". If it's still missing, email us and we'll send the file directly.
Wrong item or duplicate charge
If you received the wrong book, or were charged twice for the same one, email us and we'll correct it straight away. Duplicate charges are refunded in full and don't count against the 30-day window.
What we can't refund
Requests made more than 30 days after purchase, and gift cards.
That's the whole list. Discounted and sale items are refundable on exactly the same terms as everything else.
If you're in the EU or UK
Consumer law in the EU and UK normally gives you 14 days to cancel an order without giving a reason. For digital content delivered immediately, that right can end once the download begins, where you have agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you're giving up the cancellation right.
We'd rather not rely on that. Our 30-day refund applies to every customer, everywhere, and it is more generous than the statutory minimum. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
How long refunds take
We process approved refunds within 2 business days to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may then take a further 5 to 10 business days to post it, which is outside our control.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you still can't see it, email us and we'll chase it with the payment provider.
Chargebacks
If something's gone wrong, please email us first. We refund without argument, and a direct refund reaches you faster than a chargeback — which typically takes 45 to 90 days to resolve through your bank.
